about me

I am Polett,  a Ljubljana - Budapest based intimacy coordinator for film and television and freelance dancer.

After graduating from the Hungarian Dance University in Budapest, where I received a Bachelor Degree in Dance, I started my professional dance career with the Czech National Ballet in Prague in 2011. This was followed by a new engagement with the Slovenian National Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana, where I was promoted to a demi-soloist position. After performing in a wide range of classical ballet repertoire, I joined the Hessisches Staatsballett in Wiesbaden-Darmstadt as a soloist in 2016, where I expanded my career into contemporary dance theatre. During my time with the company, I collaborated with choreographers such as Itamar Serussi, Jeroen Verbruggen, Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, Pablo Girolami, Tim Plegge, and Kristian Lever. Since 2018, I have been working as an independent artist, collaborating with Beatrix Simkó (HU), Kristina Aleksova (SLO), Via Negativa (SLO),  Katia Engel (DE),  Jenna Jalonen (FI) and Matej Kejžar (SLO). Throughout my career, I have been invited to perform as a guest artist in a number of countries, including Belgium, Sweden, Japan, Indonesia, Switzerland, Ukraine, South Korea, Italy, Spain, Austria, and the Czech Republic. In 2023, I directed and choreographed my first dance performance, SQUARE 1 in collaboration with Mateja Železnik. I proudly received my second diploma in cultural management in 2024, marking another milestone in my professional journey. I further expanded my expertise by completing training as an Intimacy Coordinator through Safe Set's SAG-AFTRA-accredited training program in 2025. Since then, I have been working on international film productions, speaking at several film festivals about intimacy coordination, and leading a workshop at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

testimonials

“Working with Polett was a truly wonderful experience. As this was my very first experience filming an intimate scene, I’m especially grateful to have had her by my side throughout the process.

She guided everything with such care, patience, and sensitivity, always taking it one step at a time and making me feel completely safe and supported.

I learned so much from working with her. She gave us practical tools and techniques that I know I’ll continue to use throughout my career.

It was an incredibly valuable and enriching experience, and above all, I had the privilege of meeting a genuinely wonderful person. Polett is deeply dedicated to her work, and it shows in every part of her process. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide through such a vulnerable aspect of filmmaking.”

Lena Hribar - Actress, From Now On, Everything Will Be Different

”Working with Polett as an intimacy coordinator was an incredibly positive experience. This was my first time having an intimacy coordinator on set, and she immediately established a safe and professional environment that allowed us, as actors, to be more authentic and present in our performances.

What truly sets Polett apart is her background in dance. Her ability to choreograph the movement leading into the intimate scenes was invaluable, as it made the transition feel organic, safe, and technically precise. Our rehearsal sessions were always held in a relaxed, collaborative atmosphere, which made all the difference in our comfort level.

I am very grateful for her guidance and wish her many successful projects in the future.”

Gašper Markun, Actor - From Now On, Everything Will Be Different

“It was my very first film job, and Polett’s support made it feel like the safest place on earth. Everything was new to me so I wasn't sure what I could ask for. For every precaution I could possibly think of, she addressed the crew herself.

The experience really has meant a lot to me and I love that this will forever be my first scene. I highly recommend her presence on every set, it makes all the difference in creating a safe environment.”
