WÄLDER - HUTAN is a contemplation on the history of sound and embarks on a search for man's first acoustic references. The sound-based dance piece reflects whether, with the disappearance of primary forests and the silence of their special rhythms, man is gradually losing one of his oldest collective sound experiences. What does the sound of forests teach us? Can the complex biophonies of forests be considered as part of a collective body memory? The four-hour sound installation and dance performance reveals the personal and collective resonances of the team and allows the audience to experience the regularities and connections of these special biophonies.
