Polett is a Ljubljana - Budapest - Berlin based freelance dancer, performer and creator who collaborates with different artists and collectives from the international contemporary art scene.
After graduating from the Hungarian Dance University in Budapest, where she received a Bachelor Degree in Dance, she started her professional dance career with the Czech National Ballet in Prague. This was followed by a new engagement with the Slovenian National Opera and Ballet in Ljubljana, where she was promoted to a demi-soloist position. In 2016, Polett joined the Hessisches Staatsballett in Wiesbaden-Darmstadt as a soloist, where she worked with choreographers such as Itamar Serussi, Jeroen Verbruggen, Wayne McGregor, Alexander Ekman, Pablo Girolami, Tim Plegge, and Kristian Lever. Since 2018, she has been working as an independent artist, collaborating with Beatrix Simkó (HU), Sanja Nešković Peršin (SLO), Kristina Aleksova (SLO), Katia Engel (DE), and Jenna Jalonen (FI). Throughout her career, she has been invited to perform as a guest artist in a number of countries, including Sweden, Japan, Indonesia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany. In 2023, she directed and choreographed her first dance performance, SQUARE 1. She is also a guest ballet teacher for contemporary dancers and student herself, studying cultural management at Edutus University, Budapest.
